Absolute Zero

We run through a maze of corridors that only go in circles. It is
two o’clock in the afternoon and we are looking for a ladder when
a staircase is at every turn. We find one and climb to the roof. No questions asked.
The only sky we are under is a silver-plated one. We lie underneath it and
the world becomes quiet, and for the first time we stop spinning on our axes.
